North Sevier Recreation and Community Center General Rules

North Sevier Community Center

General Rules

In compliance with the Utah Clean Air Act smoking and smokeless tobacco is prohibited in or around the NSCC (North Sevier Community Center). All patrons and visitors of the North Sevier Recreation Department or the North Sevier Senior Citizens must check in with their direct supervisors before using any facilities unless prior arrangements have been made.

Food and beverages are not allowed in any part of the facility with the exception of capped, spill-proof, non-glass containers. Facilities rental are the only other exception (see rental agreement).

Possession of illegal drugs, beer, and alcoholic beverages is prohibited on the premises.

Foul and abusive language is unacceptable.

Abuse and or misuse of this facility or any equipment are also unacceptable. Violators will be held financially responsible for damages and losses. Any area in which the above rules are violated will be subject to closure. Violators will be asked to leave the premises and action may result in entry privileges being suspended or revoked.

No bare feet allowed in this facility with the exception of organized classes such as karate and gymnastics.

Patrons are fully responsible for personal items that are lost, stolen, or damaged at the NSCC. Books, bags, and all personal items should be left at home or in your vehicle while attending activities at the NSCC.

Patrons may not display actions that the NSCC staff deem unsportsmanlike or rude.

Misuse, moving, or altering any portion of the NSCC is prohibited.

Persons with infectious diseases are prohibited from using the facility. Open wounds must be covered and anyone with medical issues needs to make the NSCC staff aware of this condition.

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (age18 or older) in all areas of the NSCC facility at all times.

Please use the parking areas immediately adjacent to our facility unless full then we overflow onto the parking areas along 400 North and then on rare occasions after school is out we can use the NSHS parking area. People found violation of these rules may have their center privileges suspended or revoked.

Utah State Senator Ralph Okerlund spoke to the Salina Chamber of Commerce at their monthly meeting on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Mom’s Cafe. Mr. Okerlund spoke about the economic outlook for the state of Utah and the country. Those in attendance were Sandy Phillips – Richfield Reaper, Lora Fielding – Salina Sun, Kevin Arrington – Tourism and Events Director for Sevier County, Paula Martin – Sevier County Events Coordinator, and many others.

The event gave great promise of good things for the state of Utah.
